Up here in the mountains, the air cools down naturally at night \u2013 even on hot summer days! Still, all our rooms and suites are equipped with a climate control system.<\/p>\n

This system works as passive cooling using groundwater. Cooling is provided through underfloor heating and fan coil units. To help maintain a pleasant indoor temperature during the summer months, we recommend keeping balcony doors closed during the day and drawing the curtains.<\/p>\n

And one small request: during the hotter months, please avoid lighting the fireplace in your suite \u2013 no cooling system in the world can keep up with a roaring wood fire.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve chosen to build with solid wood \u2013 all our living areas are constructed using timber. The result? A wonderfully natural indoor climate, a subtle scent of wood without artificial fragrances, and a distinctive architectural character.<\/p>\n

Enjoy the simplicity and harmony of materials rooted in our region. The wood we use comes from Bavaria and Austria \u2013 spruce, larch, stone pine, and oak. Our stone floors are sourced from South Tyrol, and the traditional loden<\/em> fabric used in our upholstery comes from the Chiemgau region.<\/p>\n

Dogs are very welcome at our hotel and are invited to enjoy their stay just as much as their two-legged companions. We kindly ask that dogs are registered at the time of booking. A surcharge of 35 EUR per dog, per night applies.<\/p>\n

To ensure that all guests \u2013 with and without fur \u2013 feel comfortable, we ask you to observe a few guidelines:<\/p>\n

  • for our four-legged visitors, we are happy to provide a cosy Cloud7 dog cushion, bowls and an extra dog towel in the room<\/li>\n

  • should additional cleaning be required upon departure, we reserve the right to charge an extra final cleaning fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dogs are welcome on our terrace, in the lobby and in the bar area with long table. Our restaurants Heustube, M\u00fchlbachstube and Alpinium are intentionally kept dog-free \u2013 thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n
