FAQ – Getting married at the Werdenfelserei

The Werdenfelserei is ideal for up to 40 people. For free weddings, we have beautiful rooms on the 4th floor – even with a roof terrace and a phenomenal panoramic view of the mountains. And should there be more guests, there is of course also the possibility of renting the house exclusively for large weddings.

Our heart beats for small & cozy weddings. Because that is exactly what is reflected in the ambience of the Werdenfelserei. So if you are looking for a micro-wedding location in Bavaria, you are in perfect hands with us.

In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, civil weddings are usually held in the town hall from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, weddings are held at the Richard-Strauss Institute in Partenkirchen. And once a month you can also say “I do” on the Zugspitze in the Sonnalpin – but you have to apply early as the Zugspitze is very popular.

You are very welcome to say “Yes, I will” at the Werdenfelserei. Our roof terrace on the 4th floor is perfect for a free wedding ceremony in the open air. A civil wedding ceremony cannot currently be held here.

Here we can give you recommendations of previous wedding speakers. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own wedding officiant.

The Werdenfelserei is the ideal place for getting ready – from the beautiful studios & suites, the great view of the mountains, to a phenomenal breakfast with which the bridal couple & guests can start the day strengthened.

The Werdenfelserei has 43 studios & 8 suites, which are suitable for 2-6 people depending on the design. At maximum occupancy, the Werdenfelserei offers space for 112 people.

You can look forward to a culinary pampering program on this day. In our Wurzelwerk restaurant, we will enchant you with a selected wedding dinner, which you can create together with our chef according to your wishes. Depending on the number of guests, you can also enjoy your wedding menu on our beautiful covered & heated stream terrace.

With pleasure. Our in-house patisserie will be jumping for joy! In our bakery, the finest creations are developed, refined and optimized to perfection. Only the best ingredients are used here, which are then put into the art of baking with love and dedication. Whether classic, modern or original – our patisserie will develop a wedding cake that perfectly matches your requirements as a bridal couple.

We always find a solution! The Werdenfelserei offers many great indoor places where you can celebrate your very special day with your loved ones. And the Bachterrasse is even covered & heated.
